Restructuring of the Baumüller Group – No. 1/2008

Automation solutions and services for all mechanical engineering sectors

Nuremberg. The Baumüller Group starts with a new organizational structure into the year 2008. The Baumüller Holding GmbH & Co. KG is led by Günter and Andreas Baumüller as Managing Directors. With Andreas Baumüller, the third generation of the company’s owners takes on a great deal of responsibility for the Group as a whole. As a Vice Managing Director, Jochen Loy is in charge of the Baumüller Holding’s commercial interests.

In order to develop its market position as one of the leading suppliers in the drive and automation industry even further, the Baumüller Group has made its organizational structure more efficient. In future, customers will receive the entire product and service range from a single source.

Over the past few decades, particularly in the graphic, plastic, textile, and packaging sector Baumueller has established an excellent reputation as a competent and innovative partner of the mechanical engineering industry. This special knowledge will remain and be further developed in future.

Additionally, Baumüller’s automatical solutions will be offered to all sectors of the mechanical and plant engineering industry in future. Taking over Dr. Thomas Höfling’s responsibilities, Alexander Holler will be in charge as Sales Director of the whole Baumüller Group. So far, Alexander Holler was Head of International Sales at Baumüller. Especially the growing foreign markets business will benefit from his expertise as a sales specialist.

The Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH will be led by Andreas Baumüller and Uwe Hassler as Managing Directors, as well as the Baumüller Anlagen-Systemtechnik GmbH by Herbert Hesslinger and Jochen Loy, and the Baumüller Reparaturwerk GmbH & Co. KG by Karl-Heinz Klier, Helmut Reif and Ralf Dietrich.
