Baumüller showcases the complete performance capability based on a retrofit print unit

Nuremberg. Baumüller will again be represented at the drupa in 2008. Together with its subsidary Nürmont Installations GmbH & Co. KG, the Nuremberger company will present international trade visitors with a special highlight in Hall 6, Stand 6D68.

Visitors will be presented with an almost five tonne heavy offset roll printing unit that has been completely automated using a retrofit solution from Baumüller. The print unit is equipped with four DSC servo motors and other secondary drive motors as well as the newest b maXX® converter generation. The implemented safety functions mean the safe-PLC from Baumüller fulfils the new machine guidelines according to EN ISO 13849.

And the highlight: Keeping with the Baumüller “be in motion” motto, trade visitors can test the comprehensive services provided by Baumüller themselves. The BauDis® remote maintenance system allows the print unit data to be accessed “live”.
