Targets
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to independently set up the template on a control system, make adjustments and put axis movements into operation with the help of the template.

Contents
Day 1

  • Theory: Fundamentals of Coordinated Motion - Motion Control Part 4
    • Coordinate systems
    • Transformations
    • Group state diagrams
    • Function blocks in detail (axis movements with and without G-code, work areas, etc.)
  • Practice: Setting up and commissioning the test system using the installation package

Day 2

  • Theory: Structure and content of the 3-Axis Flex template
    • data types
    • interfaces
    • tasks
    • Main state machine
  • Practice: Creating and initializing axis groups
  • Practice: Integration and parameterization of different motion commands

Day 3

  • Practice: Using M functions
  • Extension for different kinematics, e.g. gantry
  • Implementation of additional functions of the template, e.g. file handling
