Targets
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to independently set up the template on a controller, make adjustments and commission a servo press using the template.

Contents
Day 1

  • Theory: System overview
    • Motors, AFE/inverters, OEM interfaces, software functions, water cooling
    • Structure and content of the Motion-Axis servo press template
    • Overview of the diagnostic options
  • Practice: Setup & commissioning of the test system
    • ProMaster fieldbus configuration
    • Setting up drives for servo press application
    • Transferring visualization
    • Setting up and configuring the template

Day 2

  • Theory: Advanced functions of the template
    • Energy management, virtual master
    • curve generator with plausibility check of the entered curves
    • handwheel
  • Practice: Advanced functions of the template
    • Parameterize and apply functions with ProProg

Day 3

  • Practice: Controlling the template via OEM interface
  • Practice on a real model of an eccentric press
  • Setting up the inverter
  • Integrating the crank wheel
  • Commissioning the software package
  • Commissioning energy management

Day 4

  • Theory: Visualization with SCADA Editor
    • Structure and functionality of the template
    • Interface to the PLC
  • Practical visualization with SCADA Editor
    • ProViz programming
    • mplementation of specific press functions
  • Practice: Controlling the template via visualization
